The short version
We collect only what we need to build your website and run your account. We never sell your information, and we never see your full card details. That's the whole spirit of it. The rest is detail.
What we collect
- Order details: your name, business name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address, the industry you're in and the features you choose.
- Your account: an email address and password for signing in to your dashboard. Your password is stored securely scrambled; nobody at dothatsite can read it.
- Website content: the text, photos and other material you give us to put on your site.
- Progress in your browser: while you're placing an order, your answers are saved in your own browser so you can leave and come back without starting over.
Payments
Card and mobile money payments are handled by our payment partners, who are certified to process them securely. Your full card number never touches our systems. We only receive confirmation that a payment was made. Payments arranged directly with us (for example by mobile money transfer) are recorded in your dashboard so both of us can always see what's been paid.
How we use your information

- To bill you correctly and keep honest records.
- To improve our service, always from the fewest details we need.
We don't send marketing on behalf of anyone else, and we don't sell or rent your information. Ever.
Support chat
The chat bubble in your dashboard is provided by Freshworks, a customer-support service. When you chat with us, your messages and your name are shared with them so the conversation can work. They handle that data under their own privacy policy.
Who we share with
Only the services that keep dothatsite running: payment processing, website hosting and support chat. Each one receives only what it needs to do its job. We'll share information with authorities only if the law requires it.
Your website's visitors
If your website collects anything from your customers (orders, bookings, messages), that information belongs to you and goes to you. We host it; we don't use it.
Keeping it safe
Your information is stored on secured systems and sent over encrypted connections. We keep it for as long as you have an account or a site with us, plus whatever the law requires for business records, and then we delete it.
Your rights
Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we'll sort it out. No forms, no fuss.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and its date. For meaningful changes, we'll also tell you directly.
