dothatsite designs, builds, hosts and looks after websites for businesses. We are based in Accra, Ghana. You can always reach us at [email protected].
What you're buying
When you place an order, you're asking us to design and build a website for your business, launch it, and keep it running. Your order lists exactly what's included: the base website plus any features you picked. Before we start, we confirm the scope and a delivery estimate with you. If something you asked for isn't possible or needs to change, we'll tell you before work begins, not after.
Prices & payment
Prices are in Ghana cedis. The base website and most features are one-time prices; a few features and site care carry a small monthly fee, and those are always marked before you order.
- Work begins once we've received your starting payment (currently 40% of your order total).
- The remaining balance is due before your site goes live.
- You can pay by card or mobile money. Payments are processed by our payment partners, or arranged directly with us and confirmed in your dashboard.
- Monthly fees keep their features and your site care running, and are billed from your dashboard. Your site's monthly care fee is free for the first year.
Building & approval
Most websites are ready for a first look within 2 to 5 working days; larger projects take longer, and we confirm the timeline before starting. You'll see your site before it goes live, and we'll make reasonable revisions to get it right. Your site launches only after you approve it.
Your content
Text, photos, logos and other material you give us stay yours. By sending them, you confirm you have the right to use them, and you give us permission to place them on your website. You're responsible for making sure the information on your site (prices, claims, offers) is accurate and legal. Where you don't provide photos, we may use licensed stock photography.
What you own, what we own
Your content, your brand and your domain name belong to you. The tools, templates and systems we use to build and run websites belong to dothatsite. You get a website; we keep the workshop.
Hosting & site care
We host your website and keep it healthy. We aim to keep your site online at all times, though, like every host, we can't promise zero interruptions. If a monthly fee goes unpaid, we'll remind you first; if it stays unpaid, we may pause the affected features or, after fair notice, the site itself, and restore everything once the account is settled.
Cancellations & refunds
- If you cancel before we've started building, we'll refund what you've paid.
- If you cancel after building has begun, the starting payment covers the work already done and is not refunded.
- If we can't deliver what we agreed, we'll make it right or refund you for what wasn't delivered.
Fair use
We don't build or host websites for anything illegal, deceptive or harmful. If a site is used that way, we may take it down after contacting you. Please don't misuse the dashboard or try to interfere with our systems.
Our responsibility
We put real care into every website. Our responsibility to you is limited to the amount you've paid us for the work in question. We're not liable for losses caused by things outside our control, like network outages or third-party services.
Changes to these terms
If we update these terms, we'll post the new version here with a new date. Changes apply from that date and won't rewrite the deal on an order you've already placed.
The legal bits
These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. If we ever disagree, we'll try to sort it out by talking first. That's how we prefer to work.
